Julie KeeferJullie Keefer

Julie Keefer has had extensive training in the musical arts, including a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1992 with a concentration in piano. Her prior experience includes serving as Music Director for churches throughout Pennsylvania and Delaware, including Safe Harbor United Church of Christ, Metropolitan Community Church, and Epworth United Methodist Church. She earned a Master of Divinity degree from Chicago Theological Seminary in April of 2023.

We are very excited to have Julie on board with us. She brings refreshing energy and a new vision for our music program and worship experiences, as well as a great spirit of collaboration. The spirituality of our worship services is enhanced with her at the helm of our music program and choir.

The Director of Music Ministries provides leadership for our music program and the direction and support for our 25-member choir. The Director maintains a collaborative relationship with the Minister, other staff, and the Worship Committee. There is one Sunday service at 10:00 AM, currently with choir rehearsal beforehand starting at 8:30 a.m.
