Express Yourself T-shirt and Cap Sunday
Sep 1 @ 10:00 am – 11:00 am

Sunday, September 1, 10 a.m., “Express Yourself T-shirt and Cap Sunday,” UUSD Lay Leaders Rick Welk and Don Peterson: Join us for UUSD’s third annual T-shirt Sunday. UUs love to express their feelings, their passions, their commitments, and especially their opinions. What better way to do that than with a bumper sticker for the body! So, dig through those closets and drawers. Find a T-shirt or cap that says something meaningful about you, and wear it to this Sunday Service. Join Rick, Don, and some of your fellow UUSDers as they tell the stories behind their own T-shirts. What does yours tell us about you?

  • UUSD is requiring that only vaccinated individuals (who are eligible to be vaccinated against COVID) attend in-person services.
  • Please stay home and enjoy our livestream if you have a fever, any other symptoms of illness, or if it’s simply a better option for you.
  • Mask wearing is encouraged but not required.

Transforming Hearts Course

Called by some UU Ministers as “the single most transformative experience for UUs trying to become more understanding and supporting of the transgender, non-binary, and genderqueer people among us.”

Sharing Our Stories

Each of us at UUSD has a different story to tell about how we found a spiritual home here. A few of us are life-long UUs but most are not, having come from a variety of other religious backgrounds or from no particular place of faith. Whatever our journey, sharing the stories of the paths we took helps connect us to each other and to the shared journey we are now making.
