10:00 a.m., Welcoming the Mystic Within—Rev. Heather Rion Starr

On Easter Sunday, I have found, Unitarian Universalists, who all-year-long identify more as skeptics than as mystics, are a little more receptive to the idea of the mysterious, the ineffable. What is it about the ancient stories, or the nostalgia within our own hearts and life journeys, that opens us up to the unknowable at this sacred time and season?

UUSD requires that only vaccinated individuals (who are eligible to be vaccinated against COVID) attend in-person services. On the day of the service, if you have a fever or are feeling ill, please stay home and enjoy our livestream service. Click here to register for the morning in-person service. Masks are not required but certainly an option for those who choose to wear one. On the Sundays when the Children’s Faith Exploration program takes place in the Gathering Area, everyone must be masked to enter that space because some of our younger children are not yet eligible for vaccinations.
