In our modern world, Americans are waging war daily against a myriad of social ills: drugs, crime, and poverty, just to name a few. But is war really the right approach?

As Marvin Gaye so eloquently put it, “War is not the answer, for only love can conquer hate.” Doug’s sermon “Only Love Can” is an exploration into a different, more collaborative approach to today’s problems of poverty and crime.
