“In the Water”

What are the messages to be found in the water that sustains and surrounds us? The water is powerful—and limited. Much of the time the water in our lives is silent—and yet it can also clamor for our attention. How do we receive and respond to the energy of the water? For those of you who will be joining us in-person, you may bring a small container or vial of water to pour into our common bowl if you wish. Those of you online will be encouraged to engage in your own water ceremony at home, along with us in the Sanctuary.
UUSD requires that only vaccinated individuals (who are eligible to be vaccinated against COVID) attend in-person services. On the day of the service, if you have a fever or are feeling ill, please stay home and enjoy our livestream service. Masks are not required but certainly an option for those who choose to wear one. On the Sundays when the Children’s Faith Exploration program takes place in the Gathering Area, everyone must be masked to enter that space because some of our younger children are not yet eligible for vaccinations.
