10:00 a.m., Community Thriving Through Play—Rev. Sunshine J. Wolfe

Perhaps one of the most meaningful and powerful tools for spiritual growth, justice making, and community building is play. From the time we are born, we learn what it means to be human through games, toys, silliness, and wonder. We will talk about many of the ways that play lives on into our adult lives and can transform energy and action in our communities. Topics will include theatre of the oppressed, role-playing games, music, everyday objects as toys, humor, and more. This service promises to be both meaningful and fun!

UUSD requires that only vaccinated individuals (who are eligible to be vaccinated against COVID) attend in-person services. On the day of the service, if you have a fever or are feeling ill, please stay home and enjoy our livestream service. Click here to register for the morning in-person service.
