An Emerging Ethical and Religious Response to the Global Refugee Crisis
Rev. Paula Maiorano

This service reflects on the book Humanity in Crisis through the lens of Unitarian Universalist values for human rights and vision of Beloved Community.

The book was published in late 2019 by David Hollenbach, SJ, Senior Fellow of the Berkeley Center for Religion, Peace, and World Affairs and affiliated Professor of Theology at Georgetown University.

The main thrust of the book is the emerging crisis for all of humanity of today’s millions of men, women, and children who live in extreme humanitarian crisis due to social, political, or environmental conditions.
