Delighted to Meet You

I am so eager to arrive in Delaware and begin to get to know all of you and the multiple communities of southern Delaware.
And, I’m mindful of wanting to take as long as necessary to get to know each other. There’s no rush. Let’s make time for coffee, a phone call, a walk at your favorite park, an in-person visit—whatever you are comfortable with.
How we begin this next UUSD chapter together is so important, and I will reflect on that with you this morning:
Beginning Well.
Children’s Religious Education theme for August 8: Covenant: The children will develop their own group covenant with promises they intend to keep for their group’s safety and respect for each other. They will make a beaded lanyard, and each bead will represent a part of the covenant. These lanyards will be used for UUSD name tags! All UU principles will be highlighted.
Coffee hour will be held in-person at UUSD on Sunday, August 8.
The worship service is being livestreamed and digitally recorded. Photos and videos may also be taken. Space is available at the back of the sanctuary for those who do not want their image or the images of their children livestreamed, recorded, archived, photographed, and posted on the UUSD’s website, social media, or in print.
