10:00 a.m., “Mothering Ourselves,” Rev. Heather Rion Starr

In all the Hallmark-hubbub of Mother’s Day, we often forget to affirm all the ways we need to mother ourselves. We can each be our own harshest critic, but we can also be our own biggest fan. We are the ones who know what we need to do to best care for ourselves. What are ways we can care for ourselves better, with forgiveness, acceptance, and encouragement?

UUSD requires that only vaccinated individuals (who are eligible to be vaccinated against COVID) attend in-person services. On the day of the service, if you have a fever or are feeling ill, please stay home and enjoy our livestream service. Click here to register for the morning in-person service. Masks are not required but certainly an option for those who choose to wear one. On the Sundays when the Children’s Faith Exploration program takes place in the Gathering Area, everyone must be masked to enter that space because some of our younger children are not yet eligible for vaccinations.
