10:00 a.m., Awakening to Change within Our Living Tradition—Rev. Heather Rion Starr

These two sentences are just a small portion of our Unitarian Universalist denominational Bylaws, also known as Article II: “Grateful for the religious pluralism which enriches and ennobles our faith, we are inspired to deepen our understanding and expand our vision. As free congregations, we enter into this covenant, promising to one another our mutual trust and support.” Join me in reflecting upon whether, why, how, and when these words have mattered. Let’s explore what may evolve in the future.

UUSD requires that only vaccinated individuals (who are eligible to be vaccinated against COVID) attend in-person services. On the day of the service, if you have a fever or are feeling ill, please stay home and enjoy our livestream service. Click here to register for the morning in-person service. Masks are not required but certainly an option for those who choose to wear one. On the Sundays when the Children’s Faith Exploration program takes place in the Gathering Area, everyone must be masked to enter that space because some of our younger children are not yet eligible for vaccinations.
