The Garden of Earth

As the season of Lent enters its final week, this service takes a look at the messages from Saving Paradise, the book written by Rita Brock and Rebecca Parker, who travelled the Mediterranean world in search of art depicting the dead, crucified Jesus,
and unexpectedly discovered that the depictions of Jesus were placed in a garden setting until almost a thousand years after his death. What does that say to us about the importance of the here and now, and the garden of the earth we live on?
