We’re on a Spiritual Journey Together

We’re all spiritual beings, and we live in time; therefore, we’re on a spiritual journey together. Many maps have been drawn for the spiritual journey, from the yogic paths of ancient India to Thomas Merton’s Seven Storey Mountain and beyond.

But the maps are tricky. It turns out that you can’t get to the goal of the journey by seeking it, and you can’t get there (or realize it when you do happen to get there) without seeking. So, we’re somewhat befuddled seekers together, willy-nilly — but while we’re at it, we might as well be joyful seekers.
