This workshop is being presented by the EarthCare Team at UUSD and DE Interfaith Power and Light. It will provide information about Energize Delaware’s free energy audits for houses of worship ($5,000-$8,000 value) and seed grants ($6,000) for funding to do the energy remediation work suggested in the audit.
Several energy-focused organizations involved in this initiative will be presenting information, including:
- DENREC Energy and Empowerment Programs
- DE Interfaith Power and Light (DEIPL) (houses of faith working to offer a religious response to the causes and impacts of climate change)
- Windows of Hope (low-cost interior storm windows)
- Delmarva Green (organization of area houses of faith concentrating on environmental work)
- UUSD’s EarthCare Team sharing information about our net zero building
