Calendar & Space Request for Events & Large Group Meetings

Committees, groups, and individual members that are considering holding a large, single- or multi-day event (over 30 people) at UUSD should contact Gwen Johnson and Jean Charles in advance to discuss their proposal. Please check the Calendar first to ensure that all the dates, times, and spaces you want are available. Gwen and Jean are Usage Facilitators for UUSD’s Rental & Usage Committee. They will meet with you to help decide how best to proceed to assure a successful event. Contact: Gwen and Jean at UsageFacilitators@uussd.org. Once you have discussed your event proposal with Gwen and Jean, fill out the Space Request form to reserve a time and space for your event.

  • Describe the event, intended audience, and any special considerations.
  • You must allow ample time for setup, the event, & breakdown/cleanup of the space. Specify how much time is needed before the event, for example, 11-23-17, 9:30-10 a.m. Enter "None" if setup time is not needed.
  • Specify how much time is needed after the event, for example, 11-23-17, 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Enter "None" if Breakdown time is not needed. Each room must be put back as it was found, except for the AV equipment.
