During our lifetime each of us faces major life challenges. This class explores the importance of identifying significant lifelines, creating a community of personal support, and effectively choosing a path from available options. Kim King, author of Thriving: Facing Cancer with Faith, Positivity and Serenity will share her journey with lung cancer. We will use Kim’s book as a starting point for exploring our own responses to life challenges and how we can thrive in the face of them. You can purchase the book at Browseabout or on Amazon for $15 if you would like, but reading it is not mandatory. There will be handouts. This class provides the opportunity for spiritual growth and the ability to effectively show compassion for ourselves and others when experiencing difficult situations.
