May 26—We Remember
Rev. Smith reminds us that Memorial Day weekend is not about barbecues and beach trips, but about the souls of our young people, throughout our history, who have given their time to defend our freedom and have given their lives as a sacrifice for our protection. We need to honor them well.

Rev. Smith explores the power of story, which may be described as follows: Story—reality is the reality that we see when we recognize that every person, every being, every thing has a story and contains stories—and, in fact, is a story—and that all of these stories interconnect…as lived stories. Our stories necessarily include our faith journeys, as well.
